The animals listed below are found pets that are either being held at the shelter, or are staying with their finder until an owner is located. If you see your pet, please contact us immediately to get the finder’s contact information, or information about redeeming your pet from the shelter. Call 513-867-5727 ext. 9 or email AnimalServices@bcohio.gov. Please include the Animal ID# when you call/email.
If you don’t see your pet, please still come to the shelter to file a Lost Animal report.

Tips for Finding Your Lost Pet

Please note the following change:
CHANGE TO STRAY ANIMAL CONTRACT - TRENTON:
On March 4th, 2024, we were notified by the City of Trenton that they are terminating their contract with Animal Friends Humane Society effective immediately.
As a result of Trenton's decision, stray animals from Trenton will no longer be accepted by AFHS, however we will continue to accept animals that are deceased or surrendered to us for adoption or euthanasia; all of which require a fee to be paid at the time of drop-off. We still encouraged to owners looking for their lost pets to come look for your lost pet at our facility in case it has crossed city limits.
If any Trenton residents have an issue involving a stray animal, they are to call the Trenton Police Department.
