Animal Friends applies for and receives grant funding each year from the Ohio Pet Fund to cover spay/neuter services of its adoptable animals.

Ohio Pet Fund offers spay/neuter grants for dogs and cats for adoption from animal control facilities, humane societies and 501c3 nonprofit organizations. They always have more applications than funds, so animal lovers are encouraged to purchase a pet license plate. You can purchase the license plate for $25 at Online at the BMV website, even if it is not yet time to renew your tags. The funds received from your purchase go toward a spay/neuter program.
