May 1 - May 17 AFHS is joining organizations across the country with the Bissell Foundation to help animals find loving homes to clear the shelters with discounted adoption fees. 

A tasty way to support AFHS! On Tuesday, May 21st from 4 - 9 pm, Frisch’s will donate 20% of sales back to AFHS when guests present the fundraiser flyer.

Lace up your sneakers and leash up your pup for Animal Friends’ 4th Annual 5K and Dog Jog on June 6 at Waterworks Park in Fairfield. Speed demons can crush the chip-timed 5K, while tail-waggers enjoy the laid-back 1.5-mile Dog Jog complete with medals, swag, and Flubs ice cream treats. Not feeling sporty? Come for the race party, snacks, and maybe leave with a new furry best friend.

Enjoy a full day in downtown Oxford featuring a charity car and bike show, adoptable pets from Animal Friends Humane Society, live music from The Menus, and family-friendly activities, all supporting a great cause.

Stretch, smile, and snuggle puppies at Puppy Yoga on Sunday, June 7 at Fifty West Brewing Company – Deerfield! Sponsored by My Pet’s Vet Mason, this outdoor yoga experience benefits Animal Friends Humane Society and the animals in our care. Enjoy a relaxing 30-minute session led by Rachel Canepa of RCan Wellness, LLC while adorable puppies roam and play around you. Tickets are $25 per person with two limited-capacity sessions available.
