Volunteer
Volunteers are the "heart" of every animal shelter! Thank you in advance for thinking about volunteering. All who are associated with AFHS appreciate your commitment and your love of animals. Thank you.
Volunteers can help on their own time with NO SCHEDULE. You can come out once a month, a week etc. The more you help the better! Simply show up during our business hours.
Volunteers must attend a short training/orientation session. Call our volunteer connection at 513-867-5727 ext 15 to hear a recording of upcoming orientations. All training/orientation sessions are held at the shelter trailer.
Parent/child (the child must be mature enough to handle the responsibility) pairs are welcomed to volunteer. Both parent and child must attend the training/orientation session.
Please print and bring our Volunteer Application with you.
